Alpha is made for people who are in the same boat – not sure about faith, but curious to find out more. Each session kicks off with some time to connect and eat together. We’ll enjoy some of the best food on Queen St E, which you can make a small donation towards if you’d like to.

Each film is designed to spark conversation and unpacks a different question, featuring real people with real stories. In all, the Alpha short films are designed to give an overview of the key beliefs of the Christian faith.

The most important part of any Alpha – an open conversation about the week’s topic. You can share your thoughts and questions, or just see what other people made of it. There’s no pressure to say anything or come to any conclusions – just a safe space for everyone’s unique perspective.
alpha launch night
wednesday, September 23, 2026 AT 6:30pm
Alpha begins with a one-off Launch Night on Wednesday, September 23 at St. George’s Grange Park. This is a fun, relaxed and informative evening to check out what Alpha is.
If you like it, Alpha then runs every Wednesday for 8 weeks from 6:30—8:15pm. Simply come back the following Wednesday to join in!
If at any point you decide Alpha isn't for you, that's not a problem. There's no pressure, no follow up, and no charge.

Registering for Alpha helps us to host you well— we can make sure we have enough food, place you in a small group with people like you, etc. Once you’ve filled out the form, we’ll be in touch with more details about what to expect.
